Launched in summer 2015, BaDoinkVR was among the first of the pioneers in the adult VR industry. And, with a clean, modern looking website, it shows that they’re in the business for a while.
When you visit Badoink.com, you can chose among their range of VR sites: BaDoinkVR, VRCosPlayX, 18VR and BaDoinkVIP. The last one is their regular adult site which has been around for over 10 years and contains massive amounts of videos.

Clean, intuitive interface
Scenes could use more ‘intimacy’.
1. Video quality (8/10)
BaDoinkVR’s videos are fully up to standard when it comes to specifications. Videos released after December 2018 are filmed in 5K even, a first in VR! The videos run at 60 frames per second with binaural audio. For smartphones, 30 fps videos are available to reduce the download size.
Even though the specs are as good as they come, we have seen sharper videos out there. BaDoinkVR claims the videos have an 180 degree angle, which is normal for adult VR. The viewing area is a bit narrow with the BaDoink logo is shown on both sides, which did distract us a bit.
BaDoinkVR’s video quality is up to standard, though not as sharp as can be.
Some of the older videos have a noticeable smaller field of view than 180 degrees. A nice feature is that a number of scenes is shot in 360 degrees, so you can look all the way around.
We’ve samples various scenes and, in general, found the viewing quality up to our expectations. It’s not the highest quality around, but more than acceptable for a good viewing experience.

2. Production quality (8/10)
When watching the videos on BaDoinkVR, you quickly realize this is a company that has been in the adult VR industry for ages. Their scenes are examples of classic porn shoots, you’ll find on any decent adult site, but then – of course – in VR.
This can be both positive as negative. It is, as so many things in valuating adult content are: a matter of taste. To make the virtual experience feel even more real, we prefer the illusion of having an intimate moment with what could be ‘the girl next door’. In that context it’s not positive, since most of the videos on BaDoinkVR make it hard for you not to realize you’re having virtual sex with a pornstar.
BaDoinkVR knows that in virtual porn interaction is important though, so the girls are well aware of the camera and there’s a lot of eye contact.
While on most videos, there’s little storyline and not much talking up, some are really different. There’s a video called ‘Busting a nun’ for instance which is the exact opposite. The scene feels very real and intimate and contains a lot of dialogue. Fortunately the newer videos show a bit more of this.
BaDoinkVR has experimented a lot – and still is – with their shooting style and technical equipment. They have improved a lot last year and we expect their content will continue to improve in 2019 as well.
The videos last 20 to 30 minutes, which is just fine for virtual porn. Long enough so that things don’t feel rushed.
Scenes and locations
Most scenes take place indoors, usually in a house with a clean, modern interior so that all the focus is on the action. Overall the locations are well chosen and there is enough variety in the scenes. The scenes are well lit and shot with high quality material.
3. Collection quality (8/10)
Right now BaDoinkVR offers over 760 videos. You’d expect their collection to be even larger, considering they launched already in 2015. However as of 2017, they increased their release frequency to 2 videos each week and are quickly expanding their collection.
Another big pro is that there’s definitely plenty variety in the videos. There are plenty of lesbian videos, group sex scenes, solo and even a few taken from a female point of view. So we have no doubt that you’ll find whatever tickles your fancy.
Models collection
BaDoinkVR calls them ‘VR Pornstars’ and right now they have over 520 of them. It is a mix of European and American girls and they come in all different ages, colors, shapes and sizes. We’ve seen Russian, Latin and Asian girls among the huge amount of blondes and brunettes and a few Ebony skinned. So again, there’s no shortage on variety.
BaDoinkVR’s model collection features over 240 ‘classic’ porn babes.
The girls are all pro’s, with familiar names as Aletta Ocean, Anita Bellini and Pamela Sanche. First thing you’ll notice when viewing their collection is that with large breasts, full lips, round hips, these girls are classic babes. So if you prefer more ‘natural’ girls, you might want to look elsewhere though.
Perhaps there’s a bit to much tattoos for our taste, but in general, BaDoinkVR has a fine and diverse collection of models, more then up to the task.
4. Ease of access (10/10)
BaDoinkVR’s website is minimalistic, mobile friendly and it looks pretty much the same for subscribers as it does for non-members. The video overview is very clean and intuitive which makes browsing through their collection a breeze.
The video overview contains all the necessary information and provides filter options for the various genres. Unfortunately they don’t offer trailers or preview downloads, so you can’t really sample the videos first.

Picking the right download for your device is easy. The download speed is top-notch. We maxed out our internet connection, downloading at a constant rate of 16 MB/s.
Since a while, BaDoink offers VR Theater mode, an on-site streaming solution specifically for smartphones. We’ve tried it and are really enthusiastic. Entering VR Theater mode takes you to a virtual living room where you can browse the video collection. This means you can watch, browse videos and play them without having to take off your headset. You can click and select by aiming at a certain point and hold it there for a few seconds. Also, you can easily reset your view. This all works surprisingly well.
VR Theater mode works for all smartphone powered headsets, such as Google Cardboard and variants, Homido and even the Gear VR and DayDream. As it launches outside Oculus Home, you can’t plug your phone into the Gear VR, which means you can’t use the Gear VR’s controls. We already rated BaDoink a 9 on their usability features. With this new VR Theater Mode added to the list, we can’t hold back from a full 10 out of 10!
5. Value for the money (9/10)
A subscription to BaDoinkVR means you’ll also get to access the content of BaDoinks regular site. Most is in SD quality, but the massive amount of videos makes up for that. Also, you get a nice discount on their niche VR sites: VR Cosplay and 18VR. The first offers teen-only videos (560+ videos and quickly expanding). The latter is for costume lovers (120+ videos). Both are well worth checking out.
BaDoinkVR offers excellent 24/7 support, providing clear manuals for all supported devices, (technical) assistance through their fairly active ‘Feedback forum’ and they respond quickly to emails.
The regular monthly subscription is $29.95. Often there are discounts, as low as $9.95, which is a bargain for what you get. If you plan on staying for a couple of months you’re probably better of with a year subscription for only $5.83 a month for the first year.

Our verdict
BaDoinkVR offers premium adult VR without doubt. They are continually innovating, now releasing 2 videos every week, offer two niche VR sites and provide excellent usability with their VR Theater Mode. For $29.95 a month they have a lot to offer and have well earned a spot in our Top-3 of VR studios!
