Updated: September 2025 (First review: Feb 2017)
As the world’s first dedicated VR porn studio, started all the way back in 2014, VirtualRealPorn has earned its spot in history as a pioneer. Years later, it continues to thrive with over a thousand videos, high production values, and frequent updates. The site has undergone a big facelift in recent years, looking sleek and modern compared to many competitors. But despite the polished visuals, the actual browsing experience can feel a bit overdesigned, with usability suffering in small but noticeable ways.
Not only are they the first adult VR site, they also were the first to launch separate sites for gay and transgender content, being VirtualRealGay and VirtualRealTrans. And later on, they launched the first VR adult site for woman: VirtualRealPassion
Quick summary
VirtualRealPorn remains one of the biggest names in the industry. With 1100+ high-quality videos, sleek design, and steady updates, it’s still a top choice. But usability quirks and some misleading pricing tactics prevent it from being flawless.
Our rating: 7.8 / 10
1100+ videos (+2 weekly!)
560+ super hot models
Diverse, high quality scenes
Excellent support/p>
Not the best user experiencety
Misleading marketing tricks
VirtualRealPorn’s (older) videos can also be accessed through subscribing to (one of) the following aggregator site(s):
- POVR (95% of videos)
- VRporn.com (73% of videos)
- SexLikeReal (60% of videos)
- VR Smash (19% of videos)
1. Video quality (8/10)
Being the first adult VR site means they should have had plenty of time to optimize their recording techniques to deliver the highest quality.
VirtualRealPorn still delivers where it matters most: video quality. The majority of scenes are shot in 8K resolutions at 60fps, which ensures crisp visuals and excellent immersion. Downloads come in multiple formats and resolutions, making playback flexible across different headsets. Previews are full-length and informative, and you can quickly see all starring performers.
That said, lighting isn’t always perfect, and older content doesn’t quite match today’s higher standards. Still, when judged against most studios, VRP remains a leader in technical fidelity.
On the older videos, we noticed that the head tracking support did not prevent us from getting a bit dizzy. Watching hundreds of VR videos each month, motion sickness is not something we’re very sensitive to, so there are some latency issues there.

Also we found that on some videos the camera was not precisely at eye level, which made the models in the videos appear a bit larger and closer then they actually were. Virtual Real Porn does not shoot any AR (passthrough) videos, which is unfortunate.
So in short, although it’s far from the worst we’ve seen, we’re not overly enthusiastic about what VirtualRealPorn currently offers. Since they do meet the current standard, we rate them an 8. To get any higher, they still have to do some improving on this point, since viewing quality is a key element in any VR experience.
Video specifications:
- Type: Full stereoscopic 3D
- Resolutions1920p up to 8K
- Framerate: 60 fps
- Size: varies from 3GB to 15GB (8K)
- Video length: Usually 30-45 minutes
- Other: 180° FOV, head tracking, binaural audio, no passthrough videos
2. Production quality (8/10)
Did we already mention VirtualRealPorn was the first adult VR site on the web? We did, didn’t we. Well, they used to have outstanding production quality, but as the industry evolved, other sites catched up on this front.
Lack of variety in and between scenes is one of the inherent drawbacks of virtual porn. The actor always has a passive role (because you are him), so the action kind of gets restricted to positions and poses that support this and the girls need to do most of the work.
VirtualRealPorn still wins the throphee when it comes to variation in sex positions, however over the years they have shown little innovation when it comes to other production aspects.
The girls still engage well with the camera and make you really feel like you’re part of the action. However the script is usually the same for every video: a bit of dirty talk followed by a lot of action. Which is just fine, because that’s what most users come for, however a bit more creativity here would be welcome.
The videos duration is pretty much the same: 30-45 minutes. Some vids, especially the older ones area really a bit too short, but most are long enough to let you settle into the experience.
Sets and locations
We’ve browsed many, many of their videos but we have to say that (again) we’re not as enthusiastic as we were before. Over the years choice of sets has had little innovation. Just like in real life, the bedroom is usually the place where ‘the magic’ happens. There are some outdoor scenes, but nothing that let’s the viewer really marvel in their experience.
3. Collection quality (8/10)
Quiz: What’s the first (and second largest) adult VR website on the Internet? That’s right, VirtualRealPorn. Their collection currently covers over 1100 videos, which in – virtual reality terms – is a lot for a single studio!
Every week 2 new videos are added, so they keep expanding their collection at a fast rate. The consistency is impressive: there’s rarely a drought in new content, and most releases hold up well technically. This makes us wonder why they chose not to show a release date on the video pages.
The downside is that, as mentioned, variety is somewhat predictable—while the library is huge, the style of scenes doesn’t deviate much. If you like VRP’s formula, you’ll love the depth; if not, you may find it repetitive.

Models collection
Compared to the number of videos, VirtualRealPorn has nice variety of porn stars. There are over 560 female models on the site. Plenty to go around and it adds the benefit that if you like a girl there’s a good chance you’ll find more scenes with her in them.
The models are chosen carefully, making sure there’s enough variety. For instance, we haven’t seen this many interracial scenes on any other site out there. A lot of girls are from Europe and in their late twenties, thirties or early forties. Most of them do have that typical pornstar vibe. As always, it is a matter of taste, but we do appreciate the collection of models.

VirtualRealPorn used to have a page for each pornstar with extensive information about the model, which was really refreshing. However, unfortunately they let this go. Probably because it was to much work to maintain.
4. Ease of access (7/10)
Here’s where the polish becomes both a strength and a weakness. The website design looks slick and modern, with animated banners, creative thumbnails, and a refined visual style. But the abundance of icons, overlays, and text makes it feel busy and at times overwhelming. Perhaps because of this, the website is a bit slow, what makes browsing their library not as fun as it should be.
Navigation is another culprit. The “Videos” menu doesn’t actually take you to the full library. Instead, content is split across Most Viewed, Exclusive, Latest, etc., and the only way to see all scenes is by using old-fashioned page navigation at the bottom of the homepage. This is unintuitive and could be solved with a simple filter. There actually used to be an abundance of filter options on VirtualRealPorn’s website, but somehow they seem to have forgotten about usability while focusing to much on design.
The tag/categorization system is creative but again too polished for its own good: every tag has an image, making it tedious to scroll through. Worse, there aren’t many categories compared to other sites, and filter or sort options are basically missing.
On the positive side, individual video pages are excellent: full previews, detailed specs, and performer links are all in place. Playback is smooth, though the site itself is bandwidth heavy and can load slowly.

VirtualRealPorn goes well out of their way to support all VR headsets:
- Oculus Quest 1 & 2
- Oculus Rift / Rift S
- HTC Vive Pro 1 & 2
- Apple Vision Pro
- Playstation VR
- Valve Index
- Windows Mixed Reality
- Google Daydream
- Primax Vision
- Pico 4
- Samsung Gear VR
- Smartphone (for cardboard variants)
The downloads are clearly shown for each device. For Oculus they provide the video in different resolutions. Download speeds are as good as they get, we maxed out around 28MB/s. A great and smart feature is that for each device, you can download a trailer of the scene, allowing you to sample the video before downloading the whole thing.
To finish this section with another positive note, is that they have a feedback button on every video, which is a sign they want to keep aligning their content with the desires of their users.
5. Value for the money (8/10)
Unlike many others, VirtualRealPorn is specialized in VR and does not have a network of regular adult sites. So, there are no bonus sites you’ll get access to. However, with their large and ever growing collection of VR videos, you won’t need anything else anytime soon.
As for the pricing, a single month is €12.99 initially, then renews at €21.99/month — not the €34.99 shown in the pricing table. The messaging here feels inconsistent. That’s right, this Spanish based company charges in Euros, not Dollars.
Pricing (at time of review):
- Monthly plan: €21.99 per month, with a discounted price of € 12.99 for the first month.
- 3 Months: €21.99 per month, with a discounted price of € 10.99 for the first month.
- Annual plan: €6.99, with a yearly renewal at 9.17 per month.
- Lifetime access: $299,-
Be warned that the site automatically checks an add-on subscription box for another site (€0.45 for day one, then recurring at a staggering €35.41/month). That’s sneaky, and something you’ll want to uncheck immediately. Likewise, banners urging you to “upgrade your experience” actually push you into costly annual plans, not features.
VirtualRealPorn was the first to pair their scenes with interactive sex toys like the Lovesense and Kiiroo. For their gay and transgender content, you’ll need a special subscription. We doubt anyone would want access to both straight and gay content though, so we don’t see a problem there.
VirtualRealPorn’s marketing machine is running on full power, posting on their blog and various, active social media accounts. They have an excellent support portal which covers all the basic questions and has extensive VR device setup guides. As usual with porn sites, cancelling goes through the billing partner, which is linked to on your account settings page.
Our verdict
VirtualRealPorn remains one of the cornerstones of VR porn: the very first studio to enter the space, still delivering an enormous and technically impressive library today. The site’s design is modern and eye-catching, but it often prioritizes flash over usability, with cluttered thumbnails and awkward navigation. Add in some misleading pricing tactics, and the overall experience feels less transparent than it should.
Still, for those who want a massive collection with consistent quality and high resolutions, VRP continues to be a reliable and worthwhile option. Just be prepared to navigate a slightly overdesigned site — and read the fine print before hitting “purchase.”
