Virtual Reality Bangers is an adult VR production studio located in Southern California. VR Bangers was launched in januari 2016. They have their own ever growing network of VR sites, among which are popular aggregators like VRporn.com and VRSmash.

Unlike other studios, VR Bangers has kept focus on improving their website and content, which makes them one of the leading VR studios when it comes to fresh, high quality content and usability.

1. Video quality (9/10)

Nothing is more important than image quality when it comes to virtual reality. If the video isn’t sharp enough, the experience just doesn’t feel real. To judge how VR Bangers’ videos perform, we’ll start with the specifications.

VR Bangers continues to lead in technical polish. The move to HEVC / H.265 encoding for high-res titles lets them offer real 8K UHD stereoscopic 3D at ~60 fps for users with compatible hardware. Lower-res options (4K-6K) remain, ensuring backward compatibility. Audio remains immersive with binaural or 3D sound mixes.

For many scenes, the level of detail (lighting, texture, spatial resolution) feels better than in most competing studios. If you have a high-end headset and enough bandwidth, the experience now is significantly crisper than in earlier iterations of their catalog. VR Banger used to specialize in 360° videos, but the last release dates back from 2016.

Overall, we are still quite positive about the image quality. Most of the scenes look sharp, especially the 8K videos and we didn’t spot any scaling issues or other common flaws.

2. Production quality (9/10)

Nothing radical has changed over the years on how they shoot — VR Bangers still leans on polished sets, recognizable models, strong lighting, good camera work, and well-composed POV shots. They continue regular parodies or theme scenes (e.g. game or movie inspired), which add variety.

A thief who made the (pleasurable) mistake of robbing a Dominatrix’s house, a well produced parody of the popular nostalgic tv show Baywatch (called ‘Babewatch’) and a hot wife surprising you in bed with strawberries and whipped cream for your wedding anniversary. Guess where the whipped cream goes…

We applaud these efforts, because virtual erotica should be more than just regular porn behind 3D glasses. Story is an important aspect of the whole experience and VR Bangers clearly gets this.

Looking closer and stepping into the scenes we still appreciate this, but are not always convinced by the acting. The models are American and East European girls and especially with the latter there is very little dialogue. We understand that ‘porn’ is still the main product, but VR Bangers could do more to deliver the story they so appealingly presented on their website.

The video length varies a lot at VR Bangers. Duration can be anything from 10 minutes up to well over 1 hour. Unlike in their first years where they mostly released shorter videos, those are now an exception.

Sets and locations
In VR productions, the scenery is important and VR Bangers understood this well. The scenes take place in all sorts of different locations. We’ve seen the living room, kitchen, garden etc. of various luxury villas, swimming pools, a sauna, elevator, gym, squash court and even a forest. Well-chosen and tastefully decorated as they are, the sets add to the immersion of the experience.

3. Collection quality (7/10)

Right now, VR Bangers’ video collection contains over 800 videos. It seems they ditched a few of the older videos, because their collection used to be larger. The catalog has expanded in terms of newer high resolution (8K) titles and is growing with almost 2 new videos each week.

The variety of scenes, genres, and models remains strong. All the videos are mainstream. You won’t find anything extreme here. There’s enough variation in the content though. Also, there’s a nice balance between solo and action scenes and we’ve spotted several group scenes and even some taken from a woman’s point of view.

VR Bangers also features a cam section featuring hundreds of different cam models you can get private with through purchase of tokens. Also VR Bangers produce their own VR porn games, which you can play through a separate subscription to a site called Dezyred.

Models collection
Currently their model page shows over 540 VR models. The models are very diverse. We’ve seen American, European and quite a lot of Asian girls in a variety of shapes and sizes. From Blondes and brunettes to exotic redheads and from dominatrices to cute teenage girls. You’re unlikely to be disappointed on this end.

4. Ease of access (9/10)

There’s a reason VR Bangers keeps winning awards. The site feels carefully crafted, with multiple redesigns over the years keeping it fresh and modern. We especially like the creative scene thumbnails, the animated banners with video playback, and the subtle purple glow in the background. All in all, much more modern than many competing VR studios, which still feel stuck in the past.

VR Bangers also does a solid job when it comes to usability. Navigation is straightforward, and the overall layout is clean, making it easy to get where you want to go. The search and filter tools are decent: you can refine by categories and the search results are neatly divided into Videos, Models, and News—a small touch that makes browsing feel more organized. It’s can easily compete with the level of the big aggregators in terms of depth or granularity and it’s far better than most dedicated studio sites.

The videos are neatly listed on the site. They show high quality screenshots, a stream-able trailer and all the important details such as release date, video specs, run time, model(s) and tags.

VRBangers supports pretty much all popular VR devices. Only the Playstation VR is not listed on their site:

In our test, streaming worked smoothly most of the time, but some users report streaming issues, especially when the bandwidth is a bit lower. VR Bangers is one of the few sites that does not offer direct downloads anymore through their website. Downloads (limited up to 4K resolution) are now handled through the Play’a app, which also gives you additional playback settings and a more reliable performance.

In our previous review, we experienced some lag when looking around in the videos, but that’s not the case anymore.

All with all, VR Bangers has improved significantly over the years and definitely sticks with head and shoulders above most VR studios right now when it comes to ease of use and (streaming) quality. We must note that a good internet connection is a prerequisite, especially with the download restrictions.

5. Value for the money (8/10)

VR Bangers remains one of the premium choices in VR adult content. The pricing reflects that, especially for users who value cutting-edge visuals, big names, and polished production. Below is a breakdown plus comparison how its value has shifted.

They also offer bundles with their other sites VR Smash and AR Porn. And, last but not least, you’ll get access to a bonus section with some free scenes from their other sites.

Take note that the prices they promote on their site are first month only offers. After one month, regular pricing will take over.

Compared to newer platforms or aggregators, VR Bangers is still premium-priced, but now with stiffer competition. The improvements justify the cost for tech-savvy users; for others, the “good enough” option at lower cost may feel more appealing elsewhere.

Our verdict

VR Bangers remains one of the top-tier VR porn studios, especially for those chasing peak visual fidelity and polished polish. The move to 8K + HEVC encoding boosts its technical edge, and the Play’a app helps maintain strong usability. However, some long-time users may be disappointed by the removal of web-downloads and the relatively modest innovation in navigation/filtering. If you have modern hardware and bandwidth, VR Bangers still gives excellent value. But if you’re more casual or don’t need ultra-high resolution, there may now be alternatives that deliver similar satisfaction at lower cost.
